About Restaurant “Rialto”

Hello!

I founded this restaurant in 2004; since then to it all my time is devoted. I named it after a real bridge spanning the Grand Canal in Venice, Italy. The restaurant design was inspired by this unique, one-of-a-kind city which impressed me with its architecture and its special atmosphere. It gave me an idea to open a restaurant where truly Italian, and more specifically Venetian, atmosphere would be created.

Three main principles of Rialto restaurant are: Love is a family; Comfort is an atmosphere; Taste is a pleasure.

Love is a family.

Rialto is a family restaurant. It took me not one and not even two years to open it. We truly believe that children that come over here with their parents, one day will bring their children over and tell them about their family holidays and celebrations spent in Rialto and full of happiness and love.

Comfort is an atmosphere

Restaurant atmosphere is a combination of design, team and guests. We used Italian materials to design Rialto. Lampposts were brought from Murano island; murals depict Venice; stained-glass windows were custom-made in the best workshops. Everything here was done with love to create a homey warm and cozy atmosphere.

Taste is a pleasure.

The third principle seems to be the most difficult one. It requires ongoing attention, knowledge and skills development, personal care and commitment. People who have been to Italy at least once noticed how conventional Italians are about food. I have been working with Italian chef Carlo Fadda for many years and he always reacts very emotionally when our guests ask him to prepare a dish that is out of keeping with Italian cooking traditions.
